5 years? Through a quirk of covid I’m set to have my 15 year old face on my ID till I’m 29.
I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore! *continues to take it*

Back in my home country, we were always told not to smile and have a neutral expression for government IDs. It was a surprise for me when I was being encouraged to smile at the DMV. I just said “no, I’m good”.

Fun fact: Maybe he’s not mad? I bet you read that meme as a male speaking, too.
It’s been shown in studies that due to “be tough” mentalities, boys do not learn the appropriate associations to vacabulary when expressing their feelings, and thus fall back to describing anger at older ages, even if what they are experiencing is something else.
This study hits on this some, I can’t find the better one: pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4469291/

Love Network (1976). Hate that it’s still too relevant.

That scene gives me fucking goosebumps and almost makes me cry tears of absolute rage. I get choked up watching it.
And yes it’s crazy how relevant almost every single thing he says is to this very day

Jensen’s whole speech. Jesus.
Paraphrasing:
"There is only one holistic system of dollars that governs the totality of life on this planet. "
Not much has changed since 1976. Just gotten a lot worse.
