I’ve found a comment that I like that I want to reference in another community for discussion.
The link (the chain icon) on the comment is lemmy.world/comment/2024416 but this url produces an empty page using the lemmy.world web app. old.lemmy.world/comment/2024416 does seem to work – is this bug in the web app, something weird with my setup, or am I misunderstanding something?

if you click lemmy.world/comment/2024416 what do you see? i see nothing, just a blank page
I see a comment about hiking too
I see a comment about hiking which is long and I never bother to read it

There is no really good solution so far and the apps make the mess bigger.
There is an issue on Github about the topic of instance-agnostic links to a comment.
Until then, only instance-specific links exist.

I can reproduce it, but only with that one comment. Seems to be a bug. You can report it at github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues
