Interesting and creative aproach against a Disney copyright cease and desist letter.
tl;dw:
Strong similarity to Donald was the problem so the creators published a story about a fake death (with a Disney weight) of the old duck, added plastic surgery to the duck’s beak and, after complains within the story, added an original duck beak mask (with a string attached) so the hero looked almost like before, but copyright compatible.
