The pending thing is a display bug that sometimes happens. I have several of them and I , in fact, subscribed to all of them.
How can I delete a community I created by accident? Also how come communities are disappearing from my subscribed list? Also why when in some communities it shows subscribe pending?

well this has been ongoing for at least a month. And don’t know why the admins or devs can’t fix it.

It’s been like that since I first joined Lemmy. It’s not fixed because it’s just a display issue, making it low-priority over actual bugs.

They might be busy with other things on here, or with full-time jobs

communities disappearing from your subscribed list typically mean that you have been banned from that community.
subscribe pending can have different reasons. it might be that this includes getting banned from an instance, but it can also be the result of some other technical issues.

cool. Thank you don’t know if I was banned from any community but I appreciate the message…no sarcasm.
