      In 2023, when the data is from, Florida had a ban on abortions past 15 weeks

      This meant that people in states with more restrictive rules traveled to Florida, but women with medical problems who needed an abortion later in pregnancy had to leave the state.

      The state has since banned abortions later than 6 weeks since the last period (eg: by the time women realize they’re pregnant) which means that the picture will look substantially different in 2024.
