A major UI redesign, quote posting, and events are just a few of the things to look forward to.
I migrated a week or so ago.
It's a really good release, and I'm shocked at the performance. I was floating over 1.0 load (sometimes approaching 2.0) and now I'm routinely around 0.5
Looks like I need to revisit themes. I've been doing it by hand, but it looks like there's a tool for doing it right in the ui. Also I need to figure out translation because that's a killer feature.

He was a bit sneaky with it: The current version of soapbox is actually 3.1, and 3.0 was released a week or two ago.
Very much worth the upgrade. The theme editor meant that I don't need to maintain a custom CSS, which means I'm running totally stock soapbox now.
The only thing now is I gotta figure out translation since that's a really nice thing to have.
