  No matter what side anyone is one, there must be blanket protection to express offensive views, protection to express offensive beliefs, and protection to use offensive words.

  It’s only when there’s a call to action that it is a danger, but opinions and beliefs have never harmed anyone, only actions.

  But if my fellow liberals don’t stand up for freedom — for everyone — we won’t have a leg to stand on as conservatives try to tear it down. When we adopt the tools of the censor, everybody loses.

  That’s the danger: hypocritically opposing conservatives rather than doing so while firmly in the right.
