Windows sells my data, puts ads everywhere, and the UI annoys me five times every day I use it; OSX doesn’t. It’s worth the extra money.

There are good alternatives to both of those, and they’re free, and very customizable.

  Linux is great but it’s not suitable for most people. When it breaks you need the command line to fix it.
