Comment on Some things I read about wolfballs today, and thoughts on the platform

Hahahaha. Don't worry about me bro. I don't mind. Let them post what they want, that's why you made this site. If it gets annoying, I block em. It could be Lemmy people who hate Wolfballs and want to make us look bad.
There was 1 Indian Lemmy user who in my first week came over, called me a fascist, blocked me, ranted about me on Lemmy boards. He seemed insane. I wouldn't put it past people like that to make sock puppets.
Most of Reddit would be anti-Wolfballs. I can only think of a few holdouts from the Vax era bans, maybe r/conspiracy and anti-Vax groups like that, who would share Wolfballs' vision of free speech.

Yeah I saw him talking about you. I don't understand Indian politics so don't know wtf he meant.
Reddit is so fake. Its mostly bots and people paid to shape narrative. Really makes me have a negative outlook at the future of the internet .

I have a feeling, Wolfballs will get a lot more users after Musk takes over Twatter. A lot of people will look for a Reddit alternative, and we can surely find tons of moderates on Twatter after Musk lifts all the censorship

I'm getting a little bit worried about twitter listening to his interviews. I think he may just be playing both sides.
He said today, banning trump was morally wrong but also implied a temp ban may have been warranted.
Its hard to say what the future will bring. I think its a good idea for us to stay up for when we may be most needed.

His calculus is what will make max $, as expected from world's most successful capitalist. His quote inexactly: "Make 80% of people happy, make 10% of extremes on both sides equally unhappy"
This is what a businessman with common sense would do, not a free speech idealist. If he lets extremists rant, they will turn off most people in the middle. Because of this, he would likely allow Trump, because he was great for engagement and bringing huge traffic to Twitter.
Gab will be Free speech absolutist. Twitter will serve masses as transparent, but restrictive platform.

I said maybe something about not wanting the Vax. He said I was a right wing fascist who supported India's current right wing leader. I dunno lol, I haven't lived in India since I was a teenager. Man had several screws loose
Reddit is now what Imgur was a couple of years ago and what Twitter is today, all right or moderates banned. Leftists are slowly taking over the whole space. That's why the huge meltdown over Elon.
I was there, when Twitter, Imgur and Reddit were centrist free speech places, where equal amounts of nigger and nazi calling took place from both sides. Not anymore !

I think that's something we need to hold with both hands and never forget: That these websites used to be cool, and they were quickly perverted by powers much bigger than us.

I 100% agree. I had to spend days protesting last winter, because of the absolutely mad Vax rules that 'unpersoned' you if you didn't take it. Same as with you Canadians and your banks.
All this could happen because free speech about the Vaccines was killed on every major platform - Facebook, Reddit, Twitter and News media colluded
I will fight to make online spaces 100% free, because I saw first hand how it almost destroyed my real life
