notjustlurking@lemmynsfw.com 10 months agoDave McKeegan is/was not a flat earther. He’s a debunker, and was funded as the globe proponent for “The Final Experiment”. Jeran and Witsit, went for the flat earthers. There were others from both sides there with about 10 in total.

You’re right. I saw an influencer video where he did everything I wrote above. When I grabbed the YouTube link for my comment I saw Dave McKeegan’s name and made the incorrect assumption that it was the influencer’s video. My mistake.

It’s rare nowadays to see someone admit a mistake. We should all do it more.
