I have a tiny window to work with after UAT is signed off and before the change freeze comes to deploy the next release to Prod. No pressure, but if you donât get this change through this week Nath, it isnât happening until late January. đ€

Late January sounds like a more sensible time to me, people are winding down (no fucks to give) and will be going on leave soon. Any way you could find a âproblemâ and leave it for future Nath to deal with next year? đ

Future Nath already thinks Iâm a jerk. No need to make matters worse.

Iâve got multiple clients with projects that need completion before support for the product ends December 31st.
And today a client threatened to bring in lawyers if we didnât do exactly what they said. Which is not in their contract.
That was a fun convo

I am grateful that my role has minimal contact with the customer side. My lovely project manager handles all the meetings. That said, the customers and I usually like each other whenever I do deal with them.

I have favourites definitely. Not these guys.
