    I failed my TV test last year.

    Accidentally held the channel change button for too long, ended up on babestation.

    Instant end of the test.

  There are only two actions that require a TV license:

  • Using BBC iPlayer for any reason
  • Watching live broadcast TV from any source

  YouTube does not have a broadcasting licence (granted by Ofcom) so YouTube live streams do not count as broadcast TV.

  At least I’m pretty sure that’s how that works
