CorrodedCranium@leminal.space 9 months agoI did get that vibe. I feel like part of the reason I thought it viewed the game so absurdly high was to accommodate the visual effects like when the protagonist plays Tetris on the GameBoy for the first time

I need to see it again for a rewatch. I just remember being blown away in the theater because I wasn’t quite expecting all the action and cool visuals.

Maybe that was part of my issue. I did see some of trailers which over represented the action and overall intensity of the movie. That could be part of the reason behind my jaded opinion.
