Comment on Jon Watts Explains Demise Of George Clooney & Brad Pitt ‘Wolfs’ Sequel After Streaming Pivot: “Apple Didn’t Cancel…I Did, Because I No Longer Trusted Them As A Creative Partner”
Is it so hard to believe that Apple ignored the creator of something and instead did whatever the hell they wanted?
He’s just pissy they didn’t release his movie in theaters. He’s welcome to look for another studio, but he will be lucky to find one that doesn’t go straight to streaming or even just bury his finished work for a tax write off these days.
He probbaly did, he signed on with them under the impression a theatrical release was part of it and theybdidnt deliver.
Take a second to zoom out and see that you are defending a corporation, the richest in the world, for how they treated a creative in a creative space.
Id be upset if I was him too.
