Anyone had to deal with mud daubers or paper wasps? I have both creating a nest on my house.
Everything Iâve read suggests they are nonviolent, so my current plan was to leave them be, and then knock off the nests next winter. Its gonna be a zero tolerance policy, if I get bitten once, both are gone.
Am I gonna regret it?

Do you know how badthe damage to the wood will be? Is it like a small hole I can drill out and patch?

I had mud daubers build a nest on my eaves when I was living in Epping, and they were chill as. I think as long as they are left alone it should be okay.

They do actually yeah, the nest allows moisture into the wood itâs attached to.
I was in a rental that was a shitbox, so I doubt my LL would have even noticed tbh. But if youâre concerned about damage to the wood (wherever they are attached), then yeah youâd need to remove them.
