Notyou@sopuli.xyz 3 weeks agoBillionaires own the way most people in the US (the world too) consume their news. It is a form of entertainment for many people. They stopped caring about facts and morals. They just care about “their team” winning and the other side getting hurt. The 2 party system has an “us vs them” mentality that hurts all of us in the long run.
Most people that hate on AOC haven’t seen her speak in Congress or give statements. They just heard fox claimed she wants to ban steaks and burgers because of cow farts.

Burps. Cows burp methane. Depends on their fodder, grass-fed ones produce less in the first place. We currently have fodder additives that are very good at reducing methane burps, and we have additives that reduce methane burps that are cheap, what’s kinda missing is ones that are both very good and dirt cheap and it’s going to come but it’ll take another year or two.

Fox News has been the most-watched news station in the USA for 22 years, trailed distantly by MSNBC and CNN. I very much agree this is the main reason. They’ve been crafting narratives that speak directly to conservatives fears, and kept in a constant state of panic/hate so that they will vote squarely against their own interests when they elect the guy Fox tells them will solve their problems.
