ChaoticNeutralCzech@lemmy.ml 1 year agoI know the difference but there are lots of people who aren’t really savvy with video technology. I wouldn’t blame them for thinking that ［🢐 １０８０ 🢒］ is just barely better than 1024x768.

They won’t know about 1024x768, but if they did they would understand that 1080 is barely better.
Going from 1024 to 1920 horizontal also takes the aspect ratio from 3:4 to 16:9. so oixel density is barely better.
