Iā€™m sorry, that sucks. I had pityriasis rosea or some such, Iā€™m hoping itā€™s just a reaction to a virus and nothing more serious šŸ¤ž

I also potentially have mast cell flares = rashes

One thing I found is to just very lightly and carefully ā€˜slapā€™ the itchy spots or like tap it with an open hand or fingertips - or even better do it right next to it on healthy skin. It distracts from the sensation without causing as much irritation as scratching.

However if the skin is in any way compromised ie. fragile, damaged, weeping, or infectious - donā€™t do this. Donā€™t touch it
