Same. I made a long term injuring to my ankle paragliding, and injure my wrists every so often doing gymnastics

For the long term one, you have to actively rehab and make the muscles strong to keep the joint stable and pain free. To my shock, a doctor once measure my calves, 3 years after the injury and showed me that my right one was substantially smaller because I was not rehabbing my right foot enough.
