The animal rights movement was genuinely kind of strong until you fucks went hardcore in public the last couple decades, sabotaging it.
Before that public sentiment was going our way. Now it’s more or less set in stone that humanity will without pause continue abusing animals in truly gruesome ways for at least a few more generations, with a minority vegan population. You’re ignorant of how you shaped the future of these animals, by making animals rights activism far less popular than it was and should’ve stayed you made it significantly easier to disregard animal rights activism as unimportant noise almost nobody will pay attention to… The vegans of the 2000’s and 2010’s should’ve been compensated handsomely for all the work they did to make a mockery of animal rights.
Cut the crap. It’s plain as day what’s happening here - you want to discredit the people who are actually doing things in order to make yourself feel better about not doing anything. It’s just a defense mechanism, and the person you’re really trying to fool us yourself.
Of course, it has nothing to do with corporate money or higher prices for consumers, it’s purely the people not participating in the system of abuse who are the problem. Very logical and definitely not just a defense mechanism.
And there it is, you practically just asked me to stop giving a shit about animal rights.
For all practical purposes, I have. I’m not in the streets shouting or in government buildings appealing that my minority concern should be considered for influencing regulation.
I’m on the internet talking about my support for it, and why vegans chastising insufficiently committed support for it has reduced support with it, with vegans chastising my insufficiently committed support for it.
I don’t care what you do, I am talking about the hypocrisy in your statements.
You did it again here, both saying you don’t give a shit but also are committed to supporting animal rights.
You started this by blaming vegans for reducing interest in animal rights, surely a projection of how you feel onto society. Thats your excuse for not learning more about veganism or trying it out. You already know enough right?
Go ahead and explain how you sending money to groups trying to convince slaughterhouses to use humane methods is helping?
What does help is that veganism is simply about reducing harm, and that the diet tends to have benefits for personal health, environment, and for animals.
But you can stick with your “if only we murdered them more politely things would be fine” line and see how much that helps.

The gymnastics involved in actively participating in killing and eating animals but calling yourself an animal activist is impressive.
I’m guessing you did your own testing to come to the conclusion that the healthiest diet includes meat and dairy, right?
