Obi@sopuli.xyz 1 month agoI definitely feel like there’s a correlation between jobs being entry level and being customer facing. Also in many jobs of any level you still have “customer management” even if that customer can take different shapes than the usual retail crowd, but that’s not always a good thing.

Restaurants have kitchen staff. Retail has merchandisers and night crew. I’m sure I can come up with more if I put any effort into it whatsoever. I’m not saying that customer facing jobs aren’t the majority of entry level positions, but they’re far from all of them.
