“Remastered” so sony has an excuse to force the overlay on everyone. Inb4 ps account linking and the old Steam version being replaced “for free” with the remastered one.

That’s exactly it. They need a bullshit excuse to delist the old one and add mandatory account linking on the new one. I guess maybe they learned something from Helldivers 2 and know they can’t just add it on after the fact.

Good stuff that I have the GOG version, I’m going to download and archive the installer just in case they get funny ideas. I was patiently waiting for Forbidden West to appear on GOG, guess that’s not going to happen with this sudden push of the ps overlay.

Just to be clear, delisting doesn’t mean it’s no longer available for sale, just that it’s no longer available for purchase.
