It depends on what you.mean by “best”. The 4k is the highest resolution but has been “restored” by James Cameron and some aren’t happy with this, so the Blu-ray may be “best” for them.

If I wanted the best version of the Theatrical cut of T2, which version should I get?

Thanks. Is there a difference in the 2 Bluray versions, do you know?

Both are pretty cheap. T2 is sort of infamous as one of the worst 4K discs, but some people don’t mind it. I own both and there are pros and cons to each, but there’s nothing wrong with the Blu-ray if you want to play it safe.

Buy this version if you want it on Blu-ray.

I have one of the original T2 releases from the US and the UK Skynet edition. The Skynet edition has all the bells and whistles and multiple versions of the film, but you can tell they went a bit too far with the DNR.
