I havenāt planted anything so far - I am probably moving so donāt want to put too much into the garden just to have to leave it behind! I have been doing a lot of sorting, so Iām redoing the indoor seed raising area in preparation for the future. Iāll be getting rid of an old flourescent light and moving to all LEDs, plus Iām upgrading to two heat mats. Hopefully next year Iāll have a permanent garden situation so I can put it to good use.

Nice. When I first turned mine on (itās a bit older and has a pink hue instead of the full spectrum people seem to use now) I was shocked how bright it was. Had to convince the neighbours it was for chilli and not pot. Could see it from down the streetā¦ looked like a red light district.

Iāve got mine on a shelf inside the lounge room, so only I get to be dazzled by the light. I put a shower curtain around it to cut it down, but it still glows a lot. Iāve bought some mylar sheets that I will use to line it inside to cut the light further. The shower curtain has a nice forest scene on it and is quite pretty, but still a bit too bright - and the reflective surface will be good for the plants too.
