jarfil@lemmy.world 10 months agoFrom what I’ve seen, you’d have a clear reason, and at least a chance to reply, apologize, and/or change your behavior… but you need to follow the “be nice” rule, and if you don’t agree, it’s the door. So not a good place for shitposting, trolling, sealioning, making fun of others, or general 4chan-ing.

Yeah, those are not even banned on Reddit, only disagreeing with how a mod twists the rules is a permabannable offense, and they no longer care about having a million more or less users.
It’s kind of interesting how Beehaw has fewer rules, and its mods are at the same time stricter and more tolerant.
