To say any one particular group, be it ethnicity, race, sexuality or otherwise, is still a broad stroke generalization. Just because you’re saying something positive instead of negative doesn’t make it any less problematic. It’d be like if I said all black people are really hip and trendy. That wouldn’t be okay.
