Has a similar story been posted with the same “I’m an awesome manager” pretense that they’re specifically making fun of, or is the post making fun of the types of posts on LinkedIn in general? I think, if I’m understanding the responses here correctly, it’s the latter and I just took it too literally.
I’m in your boat often enough. Sometimes a post assumes familiarity with a context and it may be hard to figure out the intent or sincerity without that familiarity.
