Yeah, I had a similar logic. I also think it might scare people away if they see no activity in months

I hope they approve this. I’m not a philly fan, but I love the idea of all sports communities being more active. It only helps bring people in, and puts eyes on the platform as a whole.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people on Lemmy browsing all that downvote any Sports content. Makes it hard to establish a community.
