  I think my enjoyment of a bad movie is inversely proportional to how aware everyone involved in making it is that it’s a bad movie.

    On the other hand a bad movie with a complete lack of self-awareness can also work, as in The Room.

      I think that’s the same hand. Bad movies are only fun if the people making them think they’re good.

        I thought they meant the opposite, that bad movies are fun when people involved are aware it’s a bad movie, which sounds reasonable to me.
