I’m kicking myself for not buying a property there 15 years ago. Went there for work (pretty remote area) and houses were going for like $50k

The 2 houses I lived in for a few years around 2013 both went for 75k. But one of them had a major mould infestation, and the other had holes in the floor and walls, massive gaps around all of the doors, no insulation, and made a creepy whistling noise whenver there was wind. Also the neighbours were psychotic and one was a drug dealer.
