SeaJ@lemm.ee 2 months agoReagan was considered old when he was elected at the age of 69 and 73. One of the big marks against Bob Dole in 1996 was that he was 73. Biden will be 82 and Trump is 78.

The last 2 US presidential elections have both had both candidates be so old that if they won, they would break the record for oldest president ever elected for their first/second term. A record that had previously been held by Reagan for decades.

And with Reagan, he started having quite a few signs of Alzheimer’s during his second term.
