Comment on Trump distances himself from Project 2025: 'I have nothing to do with them'
wintermute_oregon@lemm.ee 4 months agoIf he doesn’t know about them or support them then they have nothing to do with him. They can’t implement something without his consent and at heart Trump is fairly moderate.
Trump won’t have to work about another election if he’s elected. I expected we will see some very interesting things in his second term.
Previously Trump has supported no taxes on wages and a single payer system. We may see both implemented when he returns.

Yeaaah I feel like it wouldn’t be all that hard to slip a whole bunch of stuff past him, likewise with the other guy.
why elect (or even support) someone so easily duped?

From 2016-2020 what did he do that impacted my trans friends? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Trump is good friends with Jenner and has stuck up for her over the years.

Jenner is the token trans conservative my guy. She’s a POS person. Just because Trump and Jenner have said nice things about each other publicly doesn’t mean Trump supports Trans people lol.

None of these would impact my friends. We are old. She isn’t going to compete in college sports at age 65. Some of them I agree with and others I don’t. I suspect the only thing Trump will do is implement the military ban again which I agree with.
