I believe this is exactly what’s happening. Why would they just patch this in or release a mid-console cycle remaster when they can release a system-selling remake.

For sure. Will probably be even more likely if the Elden Ring DLC does really well and further propels FromSoft into a true mainstream household name.

From has sat on this so long that 60 fps isn’t even good anymore. I’ll wait for the 120 fps patch before buying
