I already installed NewPipe in my grandma’s television (I don’t have one). In mobile I sticks with revanced because I love sponsor lock and to have selective adblocker. In desktop I sticks with the site but I use several extensions to made it usable: Return deslike, YouTube enhancer, pockettube, sponsorblock, etc.

Same issue here but on mobile I picked NewPipe.
Desktop I just book marked my subs, signed out and enabled adblock. Loving it.

I uses Newpipe too. It’s so great that I already haven’t used official YouTube app in years.
If you are using desktop, You can also use FreeTube.
