Beer bread is like a simple soda bread; you can do it however you like and it usually turns out good
What a waste of perfectly good alcohol.
Ok, with the joke out of the way, it’s pretty tasty. I’ve had it made with everything from cheap Mexican beer to milk stout and it’s always pretty great.
My favorite is Shiner beer bread made into a grown up grilled cheese with tomato soup.
I find many beers impact the flavor only just a bit, but a Toasted lager makes a great loaf.
It’s a nice way to use up beer you didn’t finish or don’t like and it’s a super easy recipe.
Now I want to try making corn bread with cider
