jaschen@lemm.ee 8 months agoI had DEET on my skin and sat in a UBER and my leg was sitting against the door of the car. After I left, I took paint and plastic with me on my leg after a 15 min ride.

Yep, DEET will melt synthetic stuff: Let it dry on your skin before you do anything and for clothes/gear use permethrin

It was dry, but I started sweating and it became liquid again.
