Comment on Anon becomes a case study
nonfuinoncuro@lemm.ee 8 months agoNo professional psych person ever anywhere would do their job for free I don’t care how crazy or famous their patient is, they’ve seen worse. This session with anon was like having to clean the bathroom or fill out a TPS report.

I think its actually a big no-no to be charging patients for work you are planning on publishing. If they brought in other people to the session, chances are good they were looking into getting a grant.
There is very little published work on meme creators, especially right wing meme creators. If I was a psych and a volunteer Nazi propagandist outed themselves to me, I would have a certain thought in the back of my head. That thought being, "I might have just struck gold.

Yeah but the people in this thread are clearly trained professionals, why else would they be speaking with such authority?
Surely they aren’t just talking out of their asses? Right?

As a trained professional ass talker, I can confirm (with authority) that these people are not doing it

May we ass you some questions? Don’t get too close, your breath is terrible.

Well shit, I guess that’s that.

Are we just assuming this guy is a right wing meme creator or were you just commenting that it’s especially less known
WamGams@lemmy.ca 8 months ago
Most people in the Pepe the frog scene are far-right.
Soulg@sh.itjust.works 8 months ago
That is completely untrue. There’s some, but they are in no way “most”. That’s frankly idiotic.
