It could be your shoes doing it. What I do is use a bar of sard wonder soap, I wet the soap and the socks, put one sock on each hand and give them a good lather, keep the soap suds on and throw them in the wash. The pilling (all those balls on the socks) can be removed with a de-baller which is a little battery operated hand held doover.

Why do my white socks get this way? How do I take better care of them đ and these are new ones!! Hardly 2 months old.

There are non battery ones. Love mine. Also consider laundry liquid with eucalyptus in it.

Blast from the past! I remember if you werenât careful you could accidentally rip holes in things.

Well yes, you can get overly zealous with the things.

Yeah these are my tennis socks but how the dirt? Iâm confused about that one. Iâll give sard soap a go. I bought the Napisan on your recommendation a few months ago. Will that work?
My housemate recently got a de-linter? from Temu so I will give that a go as well đ thx CEO!!

Napisan will work. Just make a small paste by adding a bit of water and scrub like I said.
They get dirty because the inside of your shoes plus sweat equals filthy socks. Even though you might be playing on a hard or clay court youâll still get dust inside your shoe.

Got it! So essentially: donât buy white socks đ˘
I love white socks though đŠ

Itâs ingrained dirt from walking around in just socks. Solution is to either always wear shoes, vacuum and mop daily, or wear black socks. But to get them clean try a soak in some oxy stuff for a couple of hours then wash in intense cycle, they will come out cleaner but probably not pristine, because the dirt has pushed into the fibres.
