My reasoning is solid. You have the typical left issue where you think your opinion is a fact and new ideas scare you. Luckily I don’t practice much anymore. The pay wasn’t worth the BS. So I moved into sales. I use the same skills but Make a lot more money and work a lot less. I also do research on the side. That’s why I picked up a dsci since an Md isn’t normally research focused.

“New ideas scare you” is hilarious since the definition of conservative is disliking new ideas or ways of doing things.
Anyway, case in point: why can someone with a med degree pay off their loans and not people in other professions like teaching? Because the salaries are lower relative to cost of education and there is not much money left over after living expenses. Wow, that was hard to figure out.

There are grants for teachers. Yes, the job pays less but it doesn’t require that much education.
