Naw the second movie was great. Third one was okay. The fourth movie was unnecessary. Fifth one… ill hold my breathe.

They should’ve stopped after the first one.
- Breezy@lemmy.world 1 year ago- Marin_Rider@aussie.zone 1 year ago- the second is in many ways one of the best sequels of all time, that’s my little hill I’ll die on

- 0ops@lemm.ee 1 year ago- I like to watch the first movie, then look up the action scenes in the sequels on YouTube - Aux@lemmy.world 1 year ago- Yeah, that’s a good idea!

- Ginger666@lemmy.world 1 year ago- Go watch the animatrix - Aux@lemmy.world 1 year ago- Didn’t like it. - 0ops@lemm.ee 1 year ago- Okay, I’m glad I’m not alone on that. There’s some interesting ideas, but way too artsy, imo. I muscled through, but I don’t think I’ll watch it again.

I won't begrudge the Wachowskis taking an easy pay day on the sequels. They get a lot of leeway after making the fucking Matrix.

Well, the fourth part is totally fine by that logic.

Sort of? I mean I blame the studios who funded it for that shit. After watching the 4th one if I had to describe it in one word it would have to be “unnecessary”.
