I mean, the opera version was 100% what I was expecting. The boy band version was, however, the funniest one possible

It wasn’t just any kind of boy band.

It was K-pop.

I can understand their dishonor.

It was also more in-line with the story - Klingon opera doesn’t really belong in American-style musical theatre, while it’s easier to slot this sort of pop into that style.
