Bongo_Stryker@lemmy.ca 9 months agoWell it was William Barr (a staunch conservative) presiding over the Department of Justice when the Office of Legal Counsel gave the opinion rhat you can’t indict a sitting president. There’s nothing leftist about that, and really, you can’t have it both ways. So I don’t know what you mean.

I don’t think Barr was the head of the doj when that came out. That is from 2000

Yes I see. I must have got my timelines mixed up.
Well my factual errors notwithstanding, the part about “leftist agenda” and suffering consequences is not clear to me. If “leftist agenda” is a reference to workers rights then it doesn’t seem to me that the courts of this nation favor the proletariat at all. So I don’t understand what that means.
