I came across this article which I thought ok interesting. I have visited all these towns and didn’t find any of them ‘quirky’.

Seriously. They’re all standard country towns. Ain’t nothing special about any of them.

Walhalla could probably count as quirky. Especially at the moment, as I believe it is being painted in bright colours to resemble a Nepalese village for an upcoming movie shoot. But the rest, definitely not quirky.

I agree that Walhalla is the only one that could be called quirky, I believe there are people buried upright in the cemetery to save space, that’s definitely different. The rest of the towns are nice but not quirky.
