My wife says everything tastes like metal now. That’s a known rare side effect. You also can go into kidney failure if you aren’t supervised by a doctor and have the right preexisting conditions. It’s dangerous to lose a lot of weight fast, which is why they ramp you up slowly and monitor you professionally. A month isn’t a long time. I think I read you only lose like 3 percent in the first few months or something with the first gen of peptides. The newest ones shed more over time but they all take time.
Theres also the risk of your gut slowly down to a halt and destroying your ability to process food. But that’s a rare occurrence. I’m sure there’s others, I just am not an expert or doctor.

Metal taste? I would get my liver and kidneys checked.

She’s under professional care. “Ozempic tongue” is a known symptom, it’s thought to be a result of several things, the drugs reduce saliva, which changes how taste is perceived, it can increase or worsen existing acid reflux problems, an issue she’s always had, along with minor nutritional and mineral changes that are also known to affect taste. No abdominal pain, no vomiting, no tongue or mouth issues otherwise, no bad panels.
