It should be a completely random lotery for a lucky 5 million people.

And then you go on to describe a situation which is anything but random

Should also be people with higher empathy

This comes off as extremely ironic given the general lack of empathy you’re showing

After that, there should be an emphasis on food consumption (people who need less food on average get a higher weight in the lottery).

what about this is “completely random”

Well, once they meet all those criteria, it is random.

lAcK oF eMpAThy. Idk why people are so insistent they have to make more crotch goblins, or why its so awful that you cant have them.

You know what? Fair, someone needs to lack empathy and say it out loud.

There are too many of us. The more of us there are, the less all of us are worth. The less chronic diseases or other issues that would make you a reject in society, the better.

People are going to do this anyway.

I was more talking about the persons attitude about ADHD/ASD when referring to their lack of empathy.

There are too many of us. The more of us there are, the less all of us are worth.

I disagree. All human life has value and it appears that our population growth will slow before we reach earth’s carrying capacity anyway.

People are going to do this anyway.

Some of you fascists already are, like the people advocating eugenics in this thread even though we all know what happened in WWII. You say “people are going to do this anyway,” I say, we defeated fascism once, and we’ll do it again.

I have diagnosed ADHD, and as someone with ADHD, I’d rather not trick people into thinking they can live like everyone else, only to have others bully them for something they have no control over.

I didn’t suggest actually killing anyone. If people could handle ADHD/ASD, then maybe I would be fine with more ADHD/ASD people being made, but it is just asking for them to be bullied and rejected in this world. I strongly disagree with the idea that disease makes people unique, and that parents should make kids with say, sickle cell anemia or down syndrome, cursing them their whole life to a disadvantage that they could never consent to. We have embryo testing and selection.

It really does not matter how we profess to think about human life, if we keep treating it like a commodity. Realistically, because of the way our species choose to be, things will only get better long after most, or all of us are dead. The more of us there are, the more your employeer could say, just find another worker, the easier it is for a friend to cut you off casually out of convenience, the easier it is a society in general to apply laissez-faire rules to its society. When we were just tribes, every single person counted, and they would die to defend each other. You had to evaluate if it was really worth being enemies with someone, as everyone was invaluable.

Yes our population will outright crater over time anyway, even if we do our best to keep everyone alive, which certain billionaires are fighting hard against.

Now, about being a fascist, you hear something that sounds like eugenics, and of course, you react in disgust without thinking. This is just because eugenics is usually used as a pseudoscience to persecute certain people. I don’t really care about race, ethnicity, or the genetic status of the already living (unless they want to CRISPR themselves somehow). I’m more about making it harder for people to be vulnerable and exploited, since most of my worldview is explicitly based on anti-trust. I assume most people aren’t good, reasonable, or capable. Of course I would do anything, even the unthinkable in order to make it harder for people to exploit each other.
