I found a high resolution version of that picture to work with from a stock image site (unnecessary in this case but good practice), then used GIMP (other photo editors can do the same) to Fuzzy select (aka. Magic Wand) the white background areas, shrink the selected area by about 10 pixels to retain a small white border, then delete the selected background to leave it transparent. With a bit of experience, this doesn’t take long to do as the plain-coloured geometry is easy to select.

Ok cool, thank you. The reason I ask is I’m, slowly, pulling together that website for that association idea I told you about a couple months ago. I had this idea to have little drawn stick men charcters positioned in different random spots throughout the brochure website. But i’s not sure what to use to remove the unnecessary background of the paper.
