So, basically what I’m hearing is that I was created by natural phenomenon which I’m able to observe and comprehend, but somewhere out in the cosmos there’s some Great Old One who’s being and plans are beyond my comprehension.
I think I’m gonna keep using my reason and senses to understand the observable world, instead of worrying about things that I have no ability to understand and no reason to believe exists.

Sounds entirely reasonable to me.
I never said anything about there being a being in the cosmos with a plan, only that it’s ridiculous for any human to claim to have divine answers. They’re obviously crazy, manipulative, voracious for power and influence, or all of the above.
I’m 100% in support of using one’s own mind to exercise their intellect and critical thinking skills.
