This implies you think I’m a collectivist. I don’t like most of my fellow Americans as I think they’re broadly backwards morons, why would I fight to help them? There are a small portion I’ve met that are OK people but most of them suck.

They aren’t A-OK, which is why they’re finally going to vote in numbers. They’re also petulantly stupid though and are only reactively voting now that we have had shit completely fall apart under Trump.

I did not say it would. At least at this point I’m inclined to think we’re fucked. Voting in better government at this point is a opiate we can take while the world withers on its death bed.
Maybe it would have before. Doesn’t really matter anymore though.
