Comment on Sean Connery in 1964 (on the set of Goldfinger) and Thomas Brodie-Sangster in 2024. Both age 34 in their respective photos.

These pictures are due to two things; genetics and lighting. Even though dude on right looks younger generally, if he was photographed in the same light as Connery they would look much closer in age.

You can see the shadow on the wall behind him. There is a light below his eyeline. That’s called a beauty light, and it hides wrinkles by lighting the areas that would be in shadow from lights above.

But smoking also has a lot to do with it.
