This meme is about how Americans are lazy and aren’t doing anything or haven’t done anything to resist or outright overthrow their fascist government. So yeah I’d say those people are relevant.

I’m saying this meme ignores their sacrifices becuase it lumps all Americans into the fat lazy group when they are the clear exceptions. And again, people are still out there doing the work.
I don’t use them as a shield. They’re motivation for me to do better.
